The book picks up where the unexpected twists and turns of the first book’s cliffhanger ending left off: with a startling surprise at Santa Monica Police Lieutenant Greg Nichols’ front door. Similar shocks greet others who were involved in investigating Chrissy Weeks’ potential involvement in the earlier execution of Killer Dead, Victim Alive serial killer Keith Victor.
The deliveries are messages, and may even be threats. But Weeks is in custody. So how could she have managed?

Turns out he’s killed six women and then kidnapped another woman, Chrissy Weeks. As Mollie identifies the man, Chrissy walks into a police station and says “I think you’ve been looking for me.”
